Where is Crystal Palace?
Crystal Palace is in South London, it is formed roughly by the post code of SE19 with its epicentre in the Triangle of shops made up of Church Road, Westow Hill and Westow Street. The exact boundary for the Crystal Palace area isn’t precise, because it takes the name from the Crystal Palace. The glass and iron structure built for the Great Exhibition of 1851 and sited at Hyde Park, then rebuilt in Sydenham in 1852 and destroyed by fire in 1936.
The Palace magazine was the only publication dedicated to Crystal Palace (SE London), bringing its readers news about the local area, events, history and much more!
The Palace Magazine is now produced solely online with all the best bits still available in our archive.
